About Me:
Arlington County Virginia. Director of General Services, Department of Environmental Services. SWANA member since 1984. Incoming president of SWANA for FY 2009.
I was just reviewing my travel arrangements for WasteCon and I realize that I am excited about going. It may sound hokie, but I want to talk WasteTo Energy with the plant operators, I want to be in the fleet maintenance technical sessions, and I want to see the Trades Show, which I understand is going to have more vendors than originally projected. Also, I want to attend the Monday late afternoon WasteCon orientation meeting. I went last year and it was a great way for first timers to get a feel for what WasteCon is about and for old timers to hear what is on the minds of newcomers.

hi carl....just dropping in to say hi! hope things are going well for you in virginia.....georgia is bright and sunny......i finally have an animal control director; and today the animal control officers quit....so here i go again......Oh dear!!!!!! it's all good though.....just trying to make it through budget season and then i'm heading to my lakehome for some much needed rest and relaxation hopefully sometime next month!!!!!!!!

well, hopefully the first (friend) part of a long lasting friendship...looking forward to officially meeting you....we may have met in reno or new orleans?? it seems like we did....i met so many people, i am not too sure....smiles:)

hi carl...i am excited about wastecon too....of course, i always enjoy the social events and trade show so i can meet new people.....safe travels....
